Vehicle Detail

Rare, 2005 Toyota 4Runner Sport Edition with OEM custom fairing, 2" suspension lift, and tow package up to 5500 lbs.. Original owner I am Forced to sell this most reliable beauty against my will, but that's life, and the best is yet to come to the buyer when you drive it away and put another 250k or more miles on it's odometer as you learn it goes most any angle anywhere you can go into the great outdoors or just coming home from work in any weather you want to dare. The truth is, this has been the best experience for me since day one after buying it brand new in January of 2005, enjoying it's safety, security, and Trail Rated heavy duty offroad ability that is insane. And it is great when you find yourself able to help someone stuck in the mud, ditch, sand, snow, or even go through higher waters to rescue the "S'mores" cooking on a remote campfire as hungry eyes realize that you are their hero. It is a vehicle at the top of the niche, 4running wild in the concrete jungle, forest or enjoying a remote beach location, to cast your fishing lure, where the schools of fish gather. I have thoroughly enjoyed this lifestyle, and I hope you will too, or do not bother bidding on this auction if you do not want to enjoy those rare moments of freedom, joy and serenity in your life! Cherished by adventurers, explorers, and 4x4 enthusiasts, this 2005 Toyota 4Runner Sports Edition in Salsa Red Pearl and gray cloth interior, has been unstoppable in any enviroment and in discovering rugged off-road trails that take you to the beaches and up tough mountain trails, and then back to the suburban home life, with the true dependability that only a Toyota 4Runner can offer. In 2005, and even today, this vehicle was rated a 9.5 out of ten by the professionals including KBB, Consumer Reports, and many others. As the original owner, I have kept up with changing the fluids every three thousand miles, although the mechanics such as Toyota, Mavis, and Ozzy's recommended every five thousand miles. But there is wear and tear on the driver seat, (needs some foam and stitching nearest the drivers door on the bottom cushion), but not much use ever in the other seats. There is some more minor work needed, but not mechanical that would keep it from passing inspection, which was recently done. The work needed would be to install the rear cargo door window assembly part, which I have new. The rear cargo window actually rolls up and down, electrically, once the assembly is installed. The fuel gauge sender unit needs to be replaced, I use the trip odometer to tell me how much fuel that I have remaining in the 22 gallon fuel tank at every fill up. It has a sunroof which does not leak, but the power was disconnected by Toyota service, due to needing an assembly control arm. I upgraded the suspension in 2016 with heavy duty springs and Bilstein 5100s x 4 lifetime height adjustable fronts shocks with up to a 2.5" rise, I positioned it at 1.75" rise, giving it a 2" lift which levelled out the front to rear, (giving it a better stance and more superior ride from the oem x-reas suspension), and rear Bilsteins shocks, it is now a suspension system that the new 4Runner TRD PRO offers for performance Offroad and Onroad capabilities in the newest T4R Pro vehicles costing over $56,000. with this same setup. If you want to raise it higher, then think of buying 285 tires rather than the 275 Cooper Discoverer AT3s tires/ white lettering inward, currently on the vehicle. The rims need repainting, if you are picky. There arm a few scratches in the interior plastic trim and exterior body. I put in L.E.D. lights in the dome lighting front and rear, a new woofer speaker which enhances the JBL am/fm/cd/ cassette system. And bought new front light lense cover, to keep this beauty crispy new looking, but have not installed them, and are still in new in the box for you to install. The front fender and grill, along with the custom front bumper bar and radiator were replaced after hitting a deer in 2009. Repaired by the experts at Peekskill auto body and mechanics, a company I highly recommend if ever needed. Also the front windshield was replaced at one point in 2010.Anyone can make this vehicle a million mile car, as nicely as it runs now on 251000 hwy miles, give or take off road 4x4 miles= 30. It's a 2005 4Runner Sport Edition in great mechanical condition, except for the items mentioned above, that is why I rated it as "Good". And it eats (4x4s), the sand, rocks, mud, and snow like you were on dry land and features Downhill Crawl Assist, great for coming down steep mountains. . And the body is great, especially after washing undercarrage by hand after each off-road adventure since January of 2005. Buyer must pay a deposit of $500.00 to my PayPal account within 24 hours after winning the bid and be responsible for any or all state or local dmv fees, insurances, transportation, International Customs fees and or local pick up fees or any other fees outside of the auction purchase. Sale and removal of this vehicle must be completed within 7 days after auction.
