This is a 2001 M1123 not a M998 that means it has the 6.5 liter diesel engine with the 4 speed tranny. The M998 is usually a 6.2 with a 3 speed tranny. The 4 speed lets you do a top speed of around 75 mph were the 3 speed is only 50mph. I have just had the truck redone and the engine was fully gone through by a diesel mechanic. I know the glow plugs were changed, the fuel lines were changed, an electronic fuel pump was also added. Vermont does not give a title for vehicles older then 15 years so you will have to check with your local DMV as to how to register if you want to do that. You can always register in Vermont first then transfer to your state. I can help if needed. The truck is great but it is a military truck so there is no creature comforts it is noisy.
