Vehicle Description Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that... I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 80 photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2005 Ford Explorer Limited 4x4. I would rate the exterior of this Explorer Limited to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a beautiful SUV. It is finished in Pearl White over Parchment leather interior with factory chrome wheels, which look great. The pearlescent finish shines nicely and looks smooth all around. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, you would be hard pressed to find anything worth complaining about as you walk around the exterior of this well optioned Explorer. In fact, the worst I can say about the exterior of this Explorer is that there is some paint chipped off of the nose of the hood. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the trim and cladding is present and shows well. There is a crack in the windshield that runs along the bottom. It is out of the field of vision but you may want to check with your local laws to see if that will be an issue for you. The body is remarkably clean with no rust visible in the rockers or fenders. From what I can see, the underside looks remarkably clean, too. The factory chrome wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber with average tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Explorer came in. I would also rate the interior of this Explorer Limited to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION. The Parchment leather interior looks great against the pearl exterior. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean. The carpets are thick and full looking throughout the interior. A full set of factory floor mats are included, too. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The leather trimmed seats are clean, comfortable and show virtually no wear. The power windows, locks, seats and mirrors all work properly. The audio system is original and sounds good through the factory speakers. There are steering wheel audio controls, too. The climate control system is fully automatic and also appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. Access to the 3rd row is easy and there is a good amount or room back there for passengers. When not in use, the 3rd row easily folds flat to open up an impressive amount of storage. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Explorer came in. Pride in ownership shows throughout this well optioned truck. In fact, I didn't wash it or anything. How you see it is exactly how it came in to me. Mechanically, this Explorer appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.0L V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older truck. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. If I'm being picky, you can hear a slight rattle up front but only over very rough surfaces. Out on normal roads, she feels rock solid. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and holds excellent oil pressure at all times. The V6 makes good power and feels smooth. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. If you're looking for a very nice 4x4 and don't want to fork over a fortune for a new one, this well cared for Explorer Limited deserves a close look.
