For sale is my 68 El Camino in Cordovan Maroon with a refurbished 350 SBC motor and Turbo 350 auto transmission, 12 bolt rear, pwr brakes and steering. The car runs and drives excellent. The engine has new Vortec Heads and manifold and 4 bbl carburetor. It has an aluminum radiator and electric fan so stays very cool. A new wiring harness has been installed under the hood and a new exhaust has been fitted. The steering has also been upgraded with a quicker ratio to feel more like a modern car. The front brakes have been upgraded to Wilwood disks as well. The interior has a new dash, correct steering wheel and updated stereo and speakers. The car has recently been repainted in its original color, Maroon, with new windshield installed. It is a reliable driver and since buying the car in California it has been garaged kept. The interior is good but the headliner is separating so the car comes with a new headliner ready to install. Interesting story, when prepping the bed for paint a fiberglass panel was found covering a secret cavity. As the car is from Northern California I think it at some time it was used to transport. The panel is welded now but I call the car Smuggler.
