First, I love this car. My mechanic and I have put years into making adjustments to it to optimize everything from it's engine performance, to braking, to substantial suspension work. All to better control the car, plant it's power and corner safely by almost eliminating body roll and rear wheel hop, while keeping the car essentially stock. It's a great American Road Car. Very fast off the line now with incredible traction and geared for power on the highway too. She's fun to drive and very much improved from "off the lot"! The car has been stored under cover in a heated garage stall in winter, never raced and been a joy to take on road trips and to cruise the endless beaches here. I have gotten as much as 28/29 MPG and as low as the low teens, depending entirely how you drive it and which of the three Tunes you load, which is easy and fun to do. The car sounds very good between the slight whine of the intake and the low, (50 state legal), note of the Shelby 500 Axle Back exhaust. Aside from being responsive and stable, where the car really shines is in it's suspension upgrades. I have included a number of pics and details as well as a few pics at the end of the only little dings or scratches I could find on the GT as well as the little bit of wear on the leather seats. Plus 91 Octane semi performance tune and 87 octane economy fuel tune. This device also allows you to monitor all engine functions and to check your own fault codes and check engine lights and turn them off. It hooks to a Ford Connector beneath the steering wheel and takes a few minutes to boot up or change a program when the car is not running. Then you unplug it and that's it. You only have to make sure you run the octane fuel you are tuned for or you will run bad and foul plugs. I leave it in performance Tune as it just really makes the biggest difference. Also this car came with factory installed limited slip differential (which is really good) and traction control (which I am not a fan of but it can be easily turned off and on on the dash). The car also has the Ford premium Shaker 500 stereo system. I do have the OEM Spoiler stowed away and the rear-window deletes simply peel/pop of gently and with a bit of clean-up and Windex it's as if they were never there. .
