THIS IS THE BAJA YOU WANT!!! She's the best one on the internet. Just the right amount of miles...not too much and not to little. REMEMBER...It's a SUBARU and at 112K miles, it's barely broken in. The 2.5 Boxer engine is a 300,000 mile motor! This is a mint condition 2003. The paint's phenomenal and no dingy dents. The interior makes you think it's still the year 2003 it's so perfect. She smells clean and feels good inside. There's a very small area of surface rust on the rear lower interior door jamb as EVERY Baja has...see pictures. No big deal. As for the mechanical conditions... * The timing belt, water pump and tensioner were replaced at 89,322 miles * The clutch is absolutely perfect. Pedal pressure is great and it releases low in the throw. It really feel good and shifts crisp. * It needed a rear muffler and tailpipe and it's been replaced. * It needed rear struts and they've been replaced * The AC blows super cold and down to 46 degrees (see picture) * The brakes feel great and the pads were inspected and have lots of material left * The steering is crisp and tight * ALL ELECTRONICS WORK (Power seats, sunroof, locks, windows, drivers seat) * The AWD works perfect * The tires are KUMHO ECSTA LX Platinum 225/60ZR16's with 8/32nds tread (New are 11/32nds) * All the lights have been checked and work great The paint is in great condition. It's been Meguiar's Ultimate clear coat compounded, 2 coats of Meguiar's Deep Crystal Ultimate Polish and 2 coats of Meguiar's Ultimate Wax. The silver metallic is beautiful! The odometer reads 112,635 but the title shows 120,000. The previous owner rounded up the mileage to 120,000 during registration described in "vehicle description" in the last auction post. The explanation is accurate & reasonable and the overall condition reflects the odometer reading. This should not be a concern. See the attached picture. I love this vehicle, but my dream car...a Shelby GT500...became available and the Subie is now for sale. Expect this Baja to be around for a long, long time.
