Vehicle Detail
I'm looking to find a new home for a 2012 Buick Regal Premium III. I purchased this vehicle eight months ago with 29,000 miles. After owning Volkswagen's and Audi's, I have really enjoyed the lack of ongoing maintenance. The Regal has been very dependable. It has exceeded my expectations, both in terms of reliability and excitement. I believe it is the best mid-sized sedan available with a 6-speed manual. If you've done any research on these, you are probably aware that the Regal was designed in Germany under GM's Opel brand. This car is essentially a German vehicle but with a Buick badge. I currently own four vehicles and have reached a point where I need to consolidate. After a great deal of consideration, I've decided that the Buick Regal is one of the vehicles that must go. Overall, the car is in excellent shape. There is damage at the bottom of the driver's door. One of the photos shows a close up of the damage. I'm not certain whether the material can be repaired without replacing the door shell. The interior is in excellent shape with no cuts or damage to the leather. The backseat and rear windows are tinted at 35% while the front are at 50%. I've noticed that the tint on the rear window is beginning to bubble. It would need to be replaced (or removed completely if you prefer to have no tint). The tint on each door window is in excellent shape. I have kept all maintenance records since the purchase. Aside from oil changes, new front tires and a wheel bearing, the Buick has needed nothing else. I would recommend replacing the rear tires before winter. Original 2 key fobs and owners manual are included. Floor mats are not included. This car does have a salvage/flood title, At one point, the Regal was involved in a property insurance claim after a flood in Virginia. It doesn't necessarily mean the vehicle itself was flooded or damaged. Because it was written off in an insurance claim, it is required to have a flood title. I have had absolutely no issues with the electrical system, nor is there water damage to the carpets or interior. I attempted to list the car for sale back in February and received many inquiries about the flood history. Unfortunately, I have no further details on the history aside from what I just mentioned. ** I would recommend checking with your local DMV to make sure there will be no issues registering the vehicle. Every state treats salvage/flood vehicles slightly different; some DMVs may require an inspection while others are more relaxed.** Taking into account the flood title, damage on the driver side door and back window tint that needs some attention, I am listing this with no reserve. I do have the Buick listed locally in Connecticut. Feel free to contact me with questions. I am open to offers. A $500 deposit via PayPal is required within 48 hours of auction end. You are welcome to inspect the car in person before paying the remaining balance. I would prefer that the remaining balance also be paid via PayPal, but I am open to discussing other options if that is not possible.
