Vehicle Description Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that... I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take your time and check out each of the 70+ photos carefully and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of thsoe places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2005 BMW X5. I would rate the exterior of this X5 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a beautiful BMW. It is finished in Black over Brown and Black interior, which is a good color combination. The black finsh has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, you'd be hard pressed to find anything worth complaining about as you walk around the exterior of this X5. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gates all open and close easily. All of the trim and moldings are present and show well. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory optional xenon HID headlights do an excellent job at lighting up the road at night. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber with good tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos to see how exceptionally clean this BMW came in. I would also rate the interior of this BMW to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The brown leather seats are clean, comfortable and show virtually no wear. The power winodws, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The only bad thing I can find to say about the interior of this BMW is that the cloth to the sunroof shade is missing, which is hard to fault an older vehicle for. The audio system is original and sounds good through the factory speakers. The climate control system is fully automatic and offers independent temperature settings for both the driver and passenger. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The cargo area is spacious and clean, too. The panoramic sunroof really gives the interior an open feel and is a nice addition. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this X5 came in. Mechanically, this BMW appeasr to be in good running and driving condition. The 3.0L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The worst I can say is that you can feel a little bit of wear in the lower control arm bushings, which is normal and not costly at all to replace when the time comes. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. The check engine light was on when this X5 came in. The code is just a lean code and does not seem to have any imparct on how this X5 performs. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. This X5 is a pleasure to drive. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight wtih absolutely zero complaints. The AWD system is tested and working properly. Don't let the miles scare you on this X5. Pride in ownership shows throughout this truck. She has a newer PA safety and emissions inspection, too.
