It came out of Wyoming so it has grown up in the Wild Wild West!! The old 80s Ford crew cab one ton is a very rare truck and a great body style that needs to be reborn! Keep in mind that this truck is basically a daily driver that with some work could be turned into more. This truck is so much fun to drive! It is a great hunting or recreational vehicle. It has tons of ground clearance and handles really well. This thing is an absolute dream. It reminds me of the truck on the Fall Guy back in the 80s. It gets a ton of attention and lots of looks driving down the road! The truck definitely has some things that would need to be addressed but as a NO RESERVE AUCTION, it should be in a price range that would make it affordable to just about anyone who is interested! We have done our best to make sure that the photos reflect the actual condition of the truck. Call Reid for more details: 435-773-1985. The engine starts easily and runs pretty good. It will eventually need a tuneup but the engine runs very strong. That 460 is an absolute monster and has tons of torque and power! The tires look good but I don't know how old they are. Tread is decent. Left front tire looks like it got a shallow cut in the sidewall. Transmission shifts very nicely and performs as it should. Battery is strong and cranks as it should. The seats look pretty good considering that the truck is 34 years old! The dash has seen better days. The 4 wheel drives works great and shifts into high and low like butter. This truck is just so much fun to drive. It has a lift kit. I'm guessing that it is a 6 inch lift kit but I really don't know for sure. Seems like whoever did it did it right. It rides nice and feels good. The truck tracks straight down the road. There is some play in the steering wheel but its not too bad. The windshield is cracked and will need to be replaced. The windows roll up as they should. There is some small rubber trim on the driver's and passenger's side windows that is missing so there is a little wind noise when driving the truck. The truck muffler will need attention. The engine definitely has some oil leaks. There is a little bit of noise back by the rear drive shaft when you put the truck in reverse. It sounds like the joint back on the drive shaft is a little sloppy but it drives fine. The A/C is missing some parts and is inoperable. The heater works but there is a coolant smell coming from the system. It probably needs a new heater core. Not a super expensive fix but it should be done. There is some minor rust as seen in the photos but it has all been addressed with paint to curb the spread. The great thing about this truck is that someone can buy it and drive it as it is right now and work on making the upgrades and improvements as they go! The brakes feel good and it stops nicely. They may need to bled in the future but again, it drives good as it is. The definitely aren't pulsating. The wheels feel good with no balancing issues. No check engine lights that I have seen. Doors open and close good. Front door may have a small amount of sag but it is minimal. Body has several dings and dents around the truck. I am not a mechanic!! I do my very best to represent the car the best I know how, however, it is conceivable that I could miss something. Please consider having a third party inspection service inspect the vehicle prior to bidding.
