Vehicle Detail
HERE IT IS!! For your consideration, here is a true time capsule. 811 original miles. This CL100 comes with original paperwork including original bill of sale from WIGGY'S HONDA - OSSA dealer, which was located in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ. Date of purchase 7/18/72. Please look over the pics I have taken of the paperwork. I am not a title clerk. You may know more than me about vintage documents. You can use the mouse option to zoom in on the pics, if you are at home on your computer. If you have any questions about this CL100 or the paperwork, PLEASE ASK BEFORE PURCHASING. Now, for the description. Looking over the bike, it is a true survivor. Motor kicks over with good compression. All the original factory stickers look as new, considering. The tires, I believe, are original NITTO, and they still look pliable and are holding air as they should. I believe you could ride the bike with these tires, of course, that would be to your discretion. I would have preferred to post at least 50 pics, but Ebay limits the ad to 24. Every aspect of the bike is impressive with the originality, even under the bike, the bottom of the motor is super clean. None of the fasteners look like they have ever had a screwdriver or wrench put to them. I truly believe this bike was bought new and used very little. As you can see in some of the pics, it looks like it may have been stored since 1976. Of course, it will need restoration if you want to bring it back to its full glory. Or, if you want to just get it back on the street as it is now, from looking it over I would say you would need to probably clean the carburetor, new oil, check your spark plug, replace the rear drive chain, and the brake lever is broken at the perch mount. The switch assembly is good. It just needs a new lever. Also, you would probably have to check all your wire connections, although the rectifier looks new and the wiring looks in very good condition. So, I believe I have described the bike to the best of my ability. Again, if you have any questions, please email me. I will be happy to look the bike over further, and I would really be happy if whoever gets this beauty puts it back to showroom looks and lets it collect a few trophies in doing so. Last thought. Also one of the reasons, just guessing, this bike could still be in such original condition is there is no key and the steering lock is activated. I can only push the bike straight or to the right. Being that it is fairly light, it is not necessarily a bother to me when moving the bike but, sorry, I do not have the key.AND NO, THAT WAS NOT ME WHO BROKE THAT BATTERY SIDE COVER. I LEARNED THAT LESSON YEARS AGO. THOSE COVERS HAVE TO BE HANDLED WITH CARE. YOU CAN ABOUT GUESS THAT'S HOW THAT HAPPENED. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE
