1985 Dodge D-350 Crew-cab (yes a factory crewcab!!!) with a 1993 5.9L Cummins turbo diesel with factory intercooler, 5 speed manual. Southern US truck. Nice solid body and from what I can tell all original paint on the body. The truck was professionally built quite a few years ago. It features a Steel tilt and load rear deck. The deck is a full 17' long with a steel full headache rack at the front. The deck is in great shape, only a little surface rust here or there. Very HD winch, chain pockets, etc. I've replaced several of the hydraulic hoses. I'm told it's a Jerr-Dan unit but have no documentation to support this. Dual fuel tanks 30 Gallons each. The left fuel tank is currently not hooked up as there was an issue with the fuel tank selector. It's an AC cab but no compressor on the engine. Start, runs and drives great. Last year it had a new injection pump from the dealership installed. Stock, no mods. At the same time a fuel lift pump and a fuel filter. Does need a little bit of TLC before a long haul. The rear lights wiring is a real mess. Someone prior to me spliced on splices on splices. I picked up a roll of tractor trailer 7 wire but haven't installed it. This roll will be included in the auction. The previous owner lost his key and removed the key lock cylinder. I am including a complete steering column along with keys. The previous owner "jerry rigged" a number of the electrical items: the starter is now actuated by a button, the engine pre-heater is on a toggle switch (kinda nice on the super cold mornings, which by the way this truck starts wonderfully in, down to 0F this past winter). These details work and could be left "as-is" or corrected. All 6 tires are in good shape. 2WD. The interior is a non-smoker and very clean for it's age. Someone has added sound deadening material under the carpet. All glass is good. The windshield has a small bullseye on the right upper side, well away from the driver's field of vision. The truck is listed locally for sale and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. The truck is located in Sarnia, Ontario Canada. Clear registration in hand. I am willing to assist the purchaser in arranging transport. I will fill out all documentation necessary for US Customs, if the buyer wishes. The engine starts and runs great. Use the engine intake heater and it will start on the coldest of days. Very faint little whiff of smoke and then clears up. The injection pump is timed per factory specs. The pump is factory stock, no alterations. The trans shifts cleanly between all gears whether upshift or down. The clutch engages and disengages as it should and is not slipping. There is a 2" receiver trailer hitch on the back of the truck. It is wired up for a 7 round flat spade plug. I have not tested the plug. I neglected to mention in the original ad that the parking brake is currently in-op. The rear cables are tight. Either use some penetrating oil on them to free them up or replace them. For our US friends to the south. I will gladly assist in every way that I can for US entry. This truck is well over the 25 year old age restriction so US entry will be snap. I will ensure that you have all of the documentation required for US Customs.
