A classic original 1982 Honda CBX with 26617 miles on the odometer (will go up as bike is currently ridden, added 250+ miles the other day). This bike has been well maintained and is kept in a heated workshop during the winter months so has not seen any winters while on my watch. Recent work completed in 2018 (at 26350 miles):- fresh oil/filter change- flushed front/rear brakes with fresh DOT3 brake fluid- new Shinko Tour Master 230 front/rear tires- new Deka AGM battery- fresh NYS inspection Older work completed (at ~25000 miles):- new spark plugs- valve clearances adjusted- cam chain tensioners adjusted- carbs sychronized- new OE air filter This is a very nice original CBX and looks great for a 36 year old motorcycle but has the normal wear and tear for a CBX that is ridden on a regular basis. The gas tank is unlined and rust-free and the original bodywork are all in very good condition with only a few minor imperfections after 36 years of service. Starts quickly (I pressurize the automatic fuel valve vent hose to fill the float bowls with fuel so not to overwork the starter when it has been sitting), idles well, and is a joy to ride, especially when you get the six cylinders working between 5000 and 8000 RPM during acceleration. But keep in mind this is a vintage motorcycle and is sold 'as-is' and no warranty is provided. Also included in the sale are the original tool kit (with tire pressure gauge), a copy of the CBX user manual, and the original Honda factory service manual in a green Honda binder. This CBX also includes a working clock and altimeter in the fairing but the clock is disconnected so not to draw on the battery when not in use.
