Vehicle Detail

This 2010, 131708-mile, MINI Cooper S Convertible, will be ideal for someone who's an enthusiast and doesn't mind addressing the two fault codes with this MINI. One the thermostat (although no overheating issues), and two the turbo (insufficient boost). I would have replaced both (per my mechanic's recommendation), but due to an old injury that has recently returned, I can no longer drive the 6-speed-manual MINI with any regularity anyway. Also, I already have another vehicle that's my daily driver. I have all the service records since I've owned this MINI, including the diagnostic on the two fault codes mentioned earlier. There are the usual scratches from a car this age, some minor dents on the bonnet by the grill, cracked molding, and the air intake bonnet scoop is slightly warped (likely from the Arizona sun). The rear view mirror's mode switcher knob isn't working, so manual tilting is needed to change mirror modes from day to night and back. The lug wrench is partially rusted and will need to be replaced. I bought a second key, so they're now two sets. Included are manufacturers manuals as well as the Haynes manual I recently brought. Also included are wheel locks and floor mats. With all this, this MINI has served me well for over 60,000 miles, two countries, and four states. The title is clear, vehicle currently registered, and the full inspection good until Summer 2020. If you haven't moved on from this posting, here's my marketing blitz: This 2+2*, turbocharged, convertible, stick-shift, go-cart, is for those of you who really ENJOY to drive and cruise. Top up or top down, there's fun to be had. Although, even with Sport mode on all the time, I still averaged 30 MPG (combined), using the recommended premium fuel (e.g. 91 octane or higher). There's a USB and a 12-volt socket for device charging. The Bluetooth, voice activated command center, helps keep your attention on the driving. There is also an auxiliary port in case, like me, you like to jam to your tunes on Pandora or YouTube, via your phone, without using Bluetooth. The heated seats, traction control, and fog lights are a nice bonus too. Please note, this vehicle, like most modern-era BMWs (MINI's manufacturer), have run-flat tires, that are much more durable than standard tires. This, and to save weight and space, which is why there's no spare tire and you'll find the ride a bit firmer than you may be used to in other regular compact cars. It's a legit sports car, with 172/177 horsepower/torque, weighing 2,855 lbs. If you need a nimble, reliable, and economical, sports car with a heritage (or street cred.), for a weekend getaway, for longer, and the thought of a six-speed manual is automotive nirvana, this is the ride for you. *The rear seats are best for kids in their single digits, groceries, or carry-on bags. However, the adjustable steering wheel has helped me squeeze four adults in the the MINI.
