I am selling my 1985 Buick T Type. This is basically the Grand National without some of the black trim. The car is in good condition and looks likes it has been recently painted in the Grand National two tone black and gray scheme. This is a lien sale vehicle that was abandoned at my shop after bring the vehicle in for some work and I have all the paper work ready to sell it. The car has expired moving permits and has only been driven a few hundred feet over the last year just to make room in the shop. The brake booster is not working properly and needs to be replaced, I have not done so to allow the buyer to choose wether they want to buy an original booster and use the nitrogen charged power booster or go with the traditional setup. As far as condition this car really looks great and is very shiny, the interior is clean with minimal signs of wear. The car looks much better in person than in pictures. The car is from the east coast so there is a fair amount of rust in the underside and some rust damage to the corner of the drivers door. I have taken pics of all the damage or issues I found to be as upfront about the condition as possible. The car is not perfect but looks very good for a 33 year old car. The engine looks to be original and starts right up, I have not been able to drive it much due to the brake booster issue , but idles nicely and starts right up each time we need to move it out to the parking lot. I have discounted the price to account for the less than perfect Condition of the vehicle but know these cars go for good money. This is by all means a project car, if it were in near perfect condition I would be selling for $25,000. The car is located in San Jose, California and I am open to a buyer inspecting it prior to purchase.
