Vehicle Detail
This is a lot of 2 1975 Honda CB 125's. They were both built in 11/74 and the vins are close numbers to each other. The complete bike hates me (plain and simple). The story goes on it, it was parked in 1977 and was just recently found and I picked it up. It was not stored well, so a lot of the things are stiff on it. Of course, it's got a new battery. I cleaned the tank numerous times and it's actually pretty good right now. It had a spark issue, which has been cured with a new plug, condenser, points adjusted and timed, and a new replacement fuse. When I was having a problem getting a good spark, it was running on a spray, as the tank was still removed. A new carb was bought and put on and it has been cleaned a couple of times since. It now does not even cough (like I said, it hates me). The original petcock does not leak and I was able to get it to work, but the reserve pipe is no longer there. Intermittently while kick starting it, it acts like it might be missing a tooth: put it in gear, move it a bit, and then you can go back to kicking it. Lots of stuff on it is stiff, which with work on it/use it will get better, like the rear brake assembly sticks trying to apply it and it doesn't release as it should. I never really did much as far as what lights work or not, but some do. It does have the accessory short sissy bar and luggage rack. The parts bike was gotten as part of a deal with another 125 we had. Though it was stored inside all of the time I know of it (from when I picked it up until now), it has no carb and no spark plug so it is locked up. The rear fender and gas tank are just sitting on it. There is definitely a bunch of parts missing from this one. Take a look at the pictures as it will be easier than listing what's missing. Also included in the lot is a box of small parts which includes 2 carbs, the points cover and plate from the parts bike. The complete bike has 2 new keys cut from code. The parts bike has no keys. This is a nice project for the right person. I just don't feel the bike will ever like me. These bikes do NOT have titles. They each come with a Connecticut Bill of Sale only. Pick up within 1 week unless other arrangements are made. Shipping is of course your responsibility, but we have no problem working with you or your shipper.
