RE-LISTED CUZ HIS WIFE SAID "NO" I have owned this car for 10 years, and just finished it last spring. It was brought into Canada from North Dakota, where it was previously last registered in 1972. This was a working man’s Cadillac, with practically no options. Originally a one color aquamarine top and body, it has no power windows, no power seats, no A/C, no tinted windows, no auto-dim headlights. The engine was seized and the transmission smelled burnt, so I junked them both and decided to build a mild custom. Some modifications are: Brand new 290 HP GM 350 ci crate engine (PN purchased from Vickar Community Chev/Olds in Winnipeg) and installed last spring. When this car sells, everything I have that's 1956 Cadillac goes with it. Concerns or blow-offs I am an excellent mechanic, but I’m no bodyman. I am pretty good with a MiG welder tho. The front interior floor sections, some trunk floor areas and any other body rust-thru has all been cut out and replaced with metal from other 1956 Cadillac doors and fenders. The entire body was taken down to bare metal, epoxy primed and painted with oil-based enamel with activator and hardener. All I can say about my paint and bodywork is the car will not rust.
