Vehicle Detail
The bike is tagged and titled in my name, and is regularly ridden. Mileage will go up if the weather is nice. The bike is very presentable and rides well. Everything works as it should. I replaced the tires for this year’s riding season, and other recent upkeep includes a Duracell AGM battery, fork seals, rear shocks, good quality chain and front sprocket. The bike has been repainted in its original correct red with bodywork from Paul Miller in Berlin, CT. The tank was cleaned and sealed at the same time. The original chrome is in presentable condition but shows a bit of its age. The seat has been recovered and looks good. The bike has some excellent updates including an Accent electronic ignition to replace the points, an Oregon Electrics voltage regulator, Suzuki GS mag wheels in the original GT sizes so you get a rear disc brake that works great using Suzuki GS brake parts, much better than the useless stock drum brake. A set of original GT wheels can go with the bike if wanted and the bike put back to stock. All changes are bolt on. The bike has had all of the original rubber brake lines replaced with braided steel. The cooling system runs Hondaline waterless coolant. The bike runs cool even on the hottest days. The title shows 1974, but I’m sure that is because of the 8/74 build date. The frame and engine numbers both make it a 1975 GT750M model. The bike is 43 years old now but the condition doesn’t show it. The bike has tossed a chain sometime in its past, as so many of these seem to have done. So there is a small case repair that doesn’t affect operation in any way, and in fact I never noticed the repair until I pulled the side cover to replace the chain and sprocket. I tried to show it in the last pic. The only clue is the empty side cover screw hole. Please ask any questions before bidding.
