Vehicle Description Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that... I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2007 Saab 9-3 with the desirable 6 speed manual transmission. I would rate the exterior of this 9-3 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking sedan. It is finished in Steel Gray over black leather interior. I will start off by saying that I adore these cars. In fact, my personal daily driver is an 07 Saab 9-3. The gray finish shines nicely and looks smooth all around. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, you'd be hard pressed to find anything worth complaining about as you walk around the exterior of this Saab. The worth thing I can say about the exterior is a small rust bubble (about the size of a half dollar) over the LR fender that is still under the paint. You'd probably miss it if you weren't looking for it...and you'll probably never see it in the photos. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the trim and moldings are present and show well. All of the glass and lenese are intact. The optional sport alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber with good tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos to see how clean this 9-3 came in. I would rate the interior of this 9-3 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The deeply bolstered leather sport seats are clean, comfortable and show minimal wear. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The audio system is original and sounds good through the factory speakers. There are steering wheel audio controls, too. The climate control system is fully automatic and offers independent temperature settings for both the driver and passenger. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The trunk is spacious and clean. Again, please check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this 9-3 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The turbocharged 2.0L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. The turbo spools up quickly and provides a noticeable addition of smooth power. The check engine light is on. There were two issues. The first is a code for the turbo wastegate solenoid. This is most likely a sensor. I had a similar problem with my 9-3 in the past. It will sometimes throw a code and restrict boost. Normally, shutting the car off and re-starting it will temporarily make it happy. The second issue was a fuel injector open circuit for each of the four cylinders. That one I don't have any experience with. The car seems to run great. The only thing I've seen in relation to this code was one time at WalMart it cranked and cranked but didn't want to start. It acted like it was flooded. I got it started after a few seconds and it has been fine ever since. You may never see that issue again, but I wanted to give you a heads up anyway. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes through the desirable six speed manual transmission are clean and precise, as they should be. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. She has a current PA safety inspection good through the end of December, 2018. These are very hard to find with the six speed manual. If you've been keeping an eye out for one, this is your chance. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
