2 Owner car. 1st owner (10 years) did an incredible amount of tasteful and intelligent upgrades to this car. It exceeds standard S specifications and in many instances exceeds John Cooper Works (JCW) specifications. 2nd owner contributions have been to replace the windshield and the AC compressor along with a misbehaving headlight. Everything works great. I have put on about 5000 miles in 3 years and the car has been trouble free. Ice cold AC works great in South Florida!! The car is a blast to drive. Don’t let the miles fool you, the car looks terrific with only the installed front bra doing a great job of protecting the paint. At this stage, condition is most important, but the miles are still low for a 13 year old car (average about 9000 per year and under 2000 per year for the last 3 years). This is a great 1st or 2nd car, it does everything really well. It is so much fun that we bought a second Mini Cooper convertible (Sidewalk/JCW). I am selling it because after buying the Mini convertible the Minister of War and Finance (wife) prefers the convertible and she is not driving the MCS nearly as much! If you want a stock car, this one is not for you. If you want a car where you can get well thought out upgrades for pennies on the dollar, then take a look here! Harmon Kardon stereo, front/rear fog lights, auto AC, heated black panther leather seats and panoramic double sunroof (really a moonroof since both are glass). I also have a Zippy cover for the sunroof to help shield the sun from the tinted double moonroof (or it can be removed). Prior owner did a permanent fix on the AC low speed resister (known issue). Tires are Potenza's in the stock 205-45/17 size, have good tread and work surprisingly well with the light weight wheels. Car is prewired for both Valentine 1 and the V1 remote. Very clean install. The car is also prewired for Sirius/XM. There is a carbon fiber rear roof spoiler and the sideview mirrors have carbon fiber mirror covers. Prior owner did a rear seat delete kit (ala GP), so the rear seats can be removed if you want extra luggage space, There is a panel to fit over the opening and comes with the car. Owner’s manual organizer in the boot (fits on the bottom of the inside trunk cover). If you want to do a reasonable pre-purchase inspection at your expense, I will be glad to help coordinate with you. All inspections have to be done PRIOR to the close of bidding. The car is sold “as-is”, “where is”, and “with all faults”. There are no warranties of any type, express or implied. I am not a car dealer!!! This is a bargain for someone who understands the value of the upgrades that would cost 1000's of dollars to replicate, even with used parts.
