Last year for this body style, top of the line, one of 140 imported to North America... this is the 2009 Jaguar XJ Super V8 Portfolio in Celestial Black over Navy blue leather and champagne piping. If you're reading this listing, you know what the XJ8 is. Now, add the long wheelbase of the XJL. Upgrade to the appointments of a Vanden Plas. Slam the supercharged V8 and performance options from the rare XJR. Combine them all then pepper in a few options and a color combination exclusive to the super-rare Portfolio and you have this car! Jaguar imported 140 of these ultra-rare automobiles for the final year of "classic" styling... half of them in Astral Gold, and half in Celestial Black (which is actually an exquisite deep blue only appreciable in bright sunlight). This vehicle is dealer maintained and has only a few minor issues. There are a few scratches that would be expected from a 9 year old vehicle. Very minor flaking of the wheel finish is visible upon close inspection. The windshield wipers occasionally stop in the wrong position when they are switched off... and then return correctly after initiating a single "de-misting" swipe of the windshield. The center arm rest latch dislodges every-so-often. On the positive side, though... The glass has been tinted. The engine, transmission, windows, locks, radio, video, navigation, quad-zone climate control, air suspension, seat motors, seat heaters, seat coolers, brakes, adaptive cruise control, rain sensing wipers, sunroof, xenon lamps and LED brake lights all function perfectly. The Michelin performance tires are nearly new. The paint was recently detailed. The interior leather is pristine and this car is a non-smoker. No rips or tears in the carpet, trunk or suede headliner. Please feel free to visit and test drive... just not in the rain, because she will refuse to leave her garage.
