This is definitely a top shelf example of a Cobra and it includes all service documentation as well as the build certificate and original window sticker. The car is finished in laser red and is car 4878 of 7496 built that year. Must see to appreciate how well this car has been taken care of. This car has not seen winters and hasn't even been rained on during my ownership. The car is mechanically sound and rust free with MANY more miles to enjoy. The AC blows cold. I will go over the car from bumper to bumper with you because I know the entire history and have it documented in a folder that you will get with the car. I have performed most of the maintenance myself with the exception of the clutch and heads which are detailed later.I have owned this car since June 2002 when it had 28,000 miles on it. I am the third owner and it was completely stock when I got it. You are bidding on a car that hasn't changed hands much with a complete known history. That's rare in itself. This was performed at 73,532 miles and has been flawless.Faulty rattling valve in passenger side head so I had the heads pulled and replaced by a highly respected speed shop. Oil pan gasket was also replaced as preventative maintenance. The IMRCs were also cleaned up and verified to function. This was at 75,512 miles and the car has run perfectly since.New brakes on all four corners at 77,000 miles. Rear calipers were replaced due to perished dust boots. Brake fluid was flushed and replaced.New fuel filter, spark plugs/wires and professional injector power cleaning at 75,000 miles.Cooling system flush and replace at 73,532 milesNew battery at 79,455 miles.Oil changed at 79,465 miles (always synthetic and within 3000 miles)Tires inspected at 80,060 miles. KNOWN ISSUES:The stock tires (245/45R17) have about 30% of their life left and the fronts have some cupping from not being rotated enough. I was going to plan on replacing next year based on my current mileage trend.The stock CD player does not work well. It doesn't always eject the disc so you have to keep trying.Drivers side seat bolster is worn commensurate with age.It does have a few tiny rock chips on the leading edge of the hood. There are also two very small dings above the passenger side rear wheel that I feel can be easily dealt with by a paintless dent removal specialist. You can't even see them in the pictures.You may have noticed the antenna is not on the car. I don't use it since the car has XM attached to the stock Mach 460 system. It will be reinstalled when the car is sold. I just liked the look with it off the car. It isn't perfect but I truly feel it is one of the better examples out there, especially at this price. I don't know where you'd find one that has such a well documented service history, minimal ownership changes and has minor modifications that improve the experience. The paint shines like new and one look at the car reveals that it has been taken care of and respected. I have listed everything about the car, good and bad. This car is ready for more trouble free miles being mechanically sound with a recent clutch and brake service. All this car needs is a new owner who will continue the tradition of good care.
