I own a repair and restoration shop for classic vehicles and a friend of mine brought me her car to sell. This is a 1997 BMW Z3 convertible. It is still the original paint and a good polishing would bring it back to a great shine. There is a small dent in the trunk lid and a few scratches and rock chips but otherwise still very presentable. The top is in great condition. The interior is real nice with no tears and minimal wear to the drivers seat. The dash isn't cracked and the door panels are very nice. The console lid needs replacing and the drivers floor mat should be replaced. It runs and drives perfect, although it does have a check engine light for a cam position sensor. Luckily these hearty inline 6's are easy to work on, maintain and last a long time. The clutch is smooth with no chattering, no smoke or leaks from the engine. The top is manual, and functions very well. This car would make an excellent touring car, commuter car and even a first car with how easy it is to drive, very user friendly. Best of all, nothing has been modified on this car and it carries a clean California title.
