Hi People, Here before you is an excellent opportunity to own a Championship winning, Honda HRC designed RC51, Last of its kind, as there will never be another " Affordable " HRC designed bike again.. One before..RC45... Got $18-25K ? I have ridden all of Honda's best, and alot of the competition ( GSXR, ZX, R1 ) and NOTHING bends into corners like the RC51... In my option... Thankfully most of the press and riders around the world, believe as I do...this motorcycle is SPECIAL. With that statement out of the way... Since you are reading about this item, you must know what you want in a motorcycle, based on how you ride, your style, what makes you smile, etc. Just the FACTS Jack: I purchased this RC51 one year ago and just cruise around...I moved to the desert, have no riding buddies and no sweet roads, so I bought a boat. RC has been hanging out in garage so long I needed a new battery. The story goes..Original owner ( a big dude ) bought RC, rode for awhile, loved it, but sold it...some time later, he realized he missed that RC51 and bought another RC51 of the same year, except this 2005 RC51 had a bunch of cool stuff done to it..like Titanium Akrapovic mufflers, 15/41 gearing for improved acceleration ( new sprockets, O-ring chain ) full assortment of Pro-Tec Billet aluminum items, like levers, reservoir caps. engine crankcase caps, swingarm spools, Kyle Racing flapper valve mod., LED flush mounted turn signals, fender eliminator , Renal grips, Michelin Pilot tires, to name a few... Well, after he brought it home he realized it was HIS OLD RC51 !!! and he was HAPPY and rode it for many miles... Remember I stated he was BIG... he told me he needed to sell because he wanted a ZX14, because of his size and his wife wanted a better seat. So in a sense I purchased from original owner.. I love this motorcycle and am a HUGE Nicky Hayden fan from way back ( RIP Champ ) but it needs a skilled, new owner... I would not suggest this bike to a new rider, but she is up to it, if you can be smooth and be smart, as this bike is SO capable you NEED to know your ability. Since my ownership, The forks have been rebuilt with new oil/seals. High quality oil/filter ( Amsoil ), Fully prepped, all nuts,bolts , adjustments made, all moving areas, dis-assembled, cleaned, lubed ...all is smooth & quiet, NO BS. Motorcycle has been inspected by HONDA HRC factory TECH.. ( ME ) , local HONDA dealer inspected to assure new owner and VIN checked...ALL GOOD.( Docs ava ) I am offering this RC51 with a low reserve to start to make this deal exciting for all, along with a smoking " BUY IT NOW " opportunity, that includes a NEW HRC Arai Corsair-X Helmet, size Large ( worn maybe 10 times - flawless) HRC leather jacket-large/extra large and HRC gloves, all this comes with " Buy it now " ONLY !!! I can only guess, as the re-gearing has thrown the trip meter off big time...she may only have a actual 15k miles on her or less ??? ( 65 mph reads 90 mph ) ...she runs HARD...Just want to be open & honest people...Nothing to hide, may have tipped over on right side, before me, as there is scuff damage on that side of muffler, also top of fuel tank has a depression..you can't really see, but it's there..previous owners kid pushed garage door button and door came in contact with top of fuel tank, which you can purchase new, if you choose too. no other body work damage seen... RC51 is VERY CLEAN, runs great, no issues, everything works as designed... Maybe could use a Power Commander, She is all stock otherwise .RC51 IDENTICAL to last year 2006 model. Local pick -up free.
