A beautiful 1971 CB 750 purchased new in Oakland California in Spring of 1971 from Nelson Brothers Honda. Nothing has been modified, been unused since 1983 when my elderly neighbor bought a New Honda V65 at Nelson Brothers Honda in 1983. He passed away last year, I bought it from the estate. The carbs, exhaust, seat, nothing has been removed, every nut and washer is the original. Clean title, but lost, bill of sale only not for Californians because of California DMV back fees. The only change was he added factory crash bars at the dealership when purchased. It is not perfect looking but a great ride without issues. Clutch and all gears work smoothly, as do the gauges. Fully original with the exception of the clutch cable, Master cylinder. Even the tires are original Dunlop Roadmasters. If not for the tires I would feel comfortable driving this across country, that dependable! Tool kit is complete and never used, plastic holding bag has some holes. Suspension and brakes work well and smoothly. He was a meticulous owner, followed the owners manual (which comes with the bike) perfectly having the Honda Dealership maintain it on a regular schedule. Side story, in 1983, he took it in for regular service, fell in love with the new Honda V65 VF1100's and bought their first one right off the floor, parked the Honda Four in his garage, and never drove it again. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, however I will assist as needed. What I have done after receiving it, in order: Cleaned all fuel lines and tank, tank had little to NO rust. changed Oil and filter flushed and added Seaform Lubricated cylinders Cleaned air cleaner rebuilt front brake caliber and flushed brake line and replace with OEM pads. Replaced Master cylinder, having the original rebuilt will go with the bike replaced all 4 plugs cleaned all fuel bowls replaced battery replaced clutch cable ran for ten miles Repeated- changed oil and filter flushed again. Negatives: Old original tires, hold air rides ok but will need replacing due to cracking surface rust, most comes off easily, see pictures for the worst ares. Has several hundred dollars in back fees in California so not reasonable for a California purchase. Original title lost, clean but bill of sale only. Most of the rust on the bike for some reason is on the original mirrors. Small soft dent in tank please see picture with finger pointing to it. Starts on half a kick, or starts with one push of the electric start button. Handling is very good and rides very smoothly. And all gears shift very smoothly. Great power and acceleration!
