Hello, I purchased this Jeep from a mail carrier in my area. I’ve had it stored in my pole barn for a year now and I don’t have time to work on it with my busy schedule so it’s up for sale. I was going to use it as a backup vehicle for delivering mail. I’ve owned and rebuilt a few jeeps so I’ll try to list everything I know about this one. When I bought it, it had a broken leaf spring on the back right side so I replaced the whole spring pack. The engine starts right up and runs good and runs nice and quiet. I put a new battery in it in May. I have not used four wheel drive so i don't know if it works. I’ve only driven it 10 miles in the year I owned it and it drove good. I just put 4 new trail guide a/p tires on it and they have 0 miles on them. I also have 2 spare tires in the back of the Jeep, one is a full size spare with little tread and the other is a trail guide a/p with less then 1000 miles on it. This Jeep is factory made for delivering mail and the left seat as you can see in the picture has a mail tray in place of it. It will come with 2 keys, one of them is stuck in the ignition slot and I didn’t bother trying to remove it because it starts the Jeep and works fine. The headliner sags which is an issue with all old cherokees. The quarter panels are rusting around the fender wells and will probably need replaced before inspection. The gas tank was replaced before I bought it. The doors all open and close and all the power windows work. There’s no large dents and only a couple small dime size ones. The paint is a green color but is faded out. The inspection ran out in 2016. If you purchase this Jeep you will need to trailer it. This would make a nice money maker for someone who has some time put a little work into it. Right hand drive jeeps are getting harder to find.
