Vehicle Detail
This bidding is for a 1997 Jaguar XJ6 4 dr sedan. This is a rust free car. I've use it as a 2 or 3 day a week driver. I've owned the car a little over 4 years and put less than 3 thousand miles on it. I change the oil and filter once a year. The car is either in the garage or under a cover when it's not in use. I'm selling it because I have too many cars/truck and not enough time to drive them. Travel keeps me away from home at least 6 months of the year so I've installed a battery tender on the battery and it stays plugged in on my extended trips. I've just added new front tires this week and also a 4 wheel alignment. All electronics work as the should even the sun roof. I'm a British and German car hobbyists so I do my own maintenance. I've kept records of oil changes and parts updates since I've owned the car. All of the original owner's manuals are included. Also a few spare parts and a Jaguar tool kit is included in the trunk with a Jaguar duffle bag. I had the car painted four years ago. There is some wear on the driver's seat bolster but all of the other seats are in great condition. Once every so often I give the leather a good conditioning. The driver's side floor has a custom cut "coco mat" This was originally a Canadian car and had some special options, like an engine block heater, front and rear heated seats, traction control which was called the ALL-Weather Package. It has I think most all of the options including, garage/gate opener personalized remote memory activation and three position memory for doors, driver seat and steering column and headlamp washers. I installed ball joints and tie rods on the passenger side front last summer. I never got around to doing the drivers side but it goes done the road with no pulling or vibration. The new owner can, with a little maintenance will have many years of service left with this car. This car is almost 22 years old so there is no warranty. The new owner will be responsible for any shipping cost. I've tried to describe as best as I can about this Jag but if you have any questions, I will answer them to the best of my ability. Happy bidding
