I am selling a very fine classic motorcycle from my collection. The reason is that I am now 73 years old and cannot ride as much as I would like. This R75/5 is nearly perfect; everything works well; it is a joy to ride. All maintenance is up to date, it has no oil leaks and no oil required between changes . This bike was a chosen display bike at the BMW Rally in Missoula, Montana some years ago. The bike has many upgrades which include: Koni NOS shocks, Progressive fork springs, stainless steel fasteners throughout, stainless steel spokes, Brown side stand, unleaded valves and seats, BMW power outlet for battery charger, electric vest, etc., electronic voltage regulator, Parabellum fairing, halogen headlight, powder coated frame, Corbin leather seat, loud horns, K&N air filter, and more. This R75/5 was totally refreshed around 8000 miles ago. This included new: seals (engine, rear drive and fork), pistons and rings, new valves, valve springs, valve seats, one new cylinder head, wheel bearings and much more. The carburetors were rebuilt. The cylinders were worn only 0.004 inch over new specs so I did not bore them, only broke the glaze. The pistons were scuffed only but replace anyway. The speedometer was overhauled by Palo Alto Speedometer with odometer mileage preserved. I am including the origional side panels and a pair of winter hand guards shown in the last picture. This motorcycle is titled in Wyoming and located in Jackson Hole. If you are looking for an R75/5, you will not be disappointed with this one. I am not using a "reserve" price in the auction and will let the market determine the price.
