The Tuxedo Black and Cortez Silver two-tone finish on the car shows very well, and has some stone chips, light scuffs, and other blemishes you would expect on any vehicle that has been driven and enjoyed, and not stuck in a garage. It shines and looks nice and wet and attracts quite a bit of attention wherever you take it too. The 125 photos you see below are taken by an iPhone after the truck was washed and wiped down with Quick Detail spray, so imagine how great it will look when you take the time to really detail and wax it once you get it home! Chrome and tin work on the truck looks great, and the bright work really helps set off the finish. Glass is all in very good condition, with only the passenger side glass showing light marks in a few spots, but NO chips or cracks. All of the rubber window seals and weather stripping on the truck is in very good shape, and soft and pliable from garage storage when not being driven. Grill was painted to match the rest of the truck, and is clean and undamaged. Head lamps, tail lamps, turn signals, and running lights all work as they should, and show to be in very good condition. Wipers work as they should as well. 15” steel rims were painted gloss black to match, and fit with chrome baby moons and modern Firestone radial tires at all four corners. They look PERFECT on the truck, and set it apart from a sea of same-old, same-old chrome rims at every show. Rear bumper was deleted in favor of a clean pan, and it was a good choice, because it looks super nice! Bed is painted in matching silver, and is the original steel floor. It has dents, dings, scrapes, and marks from being used as an actual bed to haul things to shows and run errands, but it still is in good condition. Chrome side pipes peeking out the sides just before the rear wheels look great, and let the rumble from the 351c come through loud and clear! Overall, the outside of the truck is just a perfect example of a clean, professionally sprayed, and well-cared for finish with a classic look that won’t ever be dated. Open the doors, and the black, silver, and red paint scheme continues inside the truck. Door jams, door undersides, and hinge areas are all solid and nice, and the doors close nicely with an easy push. Armrests, window rollers, and door pulls are all in good condition, and the door locks work with the key or manually. Windows roll up and down easily, and the vents open and close like they should too. Dash pad is clean and undamaged, and the silver painted dash has been fit with a billet aluminum ball-milled gauge surround that has been stuffed with new AutoMeter PRO-COMP Ultra-Lite gauges to monitor fuel, volts, RPM, speed, oil pressure and water temp. Everything is working with the exception of the speedo/odometer. The prior owner/builder got too short a cable originally, and then started driving it and never got around to doing it. Factory headlamp switch works, factory ignition switch on the dash works, and the wiper switch works too. A tilt column is painted to match, and has billet tilt and signal arms to match the billet leather-wrapped steering wheel with FORD center button for the functional horn. Ashtray opens and closes like it should, as does the glove box, which houses the plug for the MP3/Aux/Phone connector as well as the old wire for the light inside if you wanted to reinstall it. Retro Audio system looks old, but has all digital functionality and sounds really good too. Factory heat and defrost controls were left intact, and the new VINTAGE AIR SlimLine control unit was mounted directly below it for a clean look. A/C blows VERY cold, and the cabin is small enough that even on setting 1 it will keep the heat away with ease. Overhead, the factory rear view rests between two clean sun visors and chrome trimmed headliner panel. The seat was reupholstered and treated to a custom cover matching the trucks finish theme, and it is in fantastic shape with no rips, tears, or seam pulls, and lap seat belts for 3 people. Fold the seat forward, and you’ll see the painted to match fuel tank. Underneath, OEM style black carpeting was installed over a layer of insulation, and looks almost new without any issues. A B&M drag shifter looks great in the truck, and shifts perfectly even when just cruising. Overall, the interior of the truck is a super clean, and super comfortable place to sit while you are cruising around the country. Popping open the hood shows a clean and tidy engine bay that holds the heart of this machine. A 351 Cleveland 4v motor was selected for the build, and was assembled from scratch to be a long-haul friendly workhorse with an emphasis on reliability, longevity, and ease of maintenance. A C4 automatic was mated to it, and the 9” rear is all FORD too! Disc brakes up front and drum brakes in the rear are power assisted, and stop the truck with ease without any odd pulling or issues. Power steering is so light that anyone in the family can feel comfortable driving the truck, and it is tight and crisp feeling, without that “old-school” sloppiness you see in most classics. The truck was lowered using a Crown 3/6 lowering kit to get it low, level, and still keep a nice comfy ride and great ground clearance. The truck has been driven, so don’t expect to put mirrors under it at a car show, but it IS clean, solid, and ready to perform whenever you want to go cruising. Ride is soft, smooth, and stable, and it is happy cruising along all day at 65mph without a complaint! It starts quickly with a turn of the key, idles smooth and crisp, and is ready to roll when you are. Snick the C4 into gear, and hit the gas pedal, and the truck pulls away with a strong low –end surge that feels unlimited! On the road, a mash of the pedal takes you around any slower traffic with ease, and the truck sounds awesome through the FlowMaster mufflers and new tubing. I have put approx. 150 miles on this F100 since we got it, and drove it in town mostly, with one quick trip exit-to-exit going home one night. It has done NOTHING funny, and runs, drives, stops, and steers like the well-built machine it is. The prior owner estimates he put about 6,000 miles on it cruising around, so that is where I got the 6150 mileage shown in the ad. True miles are unknown, and the title states EXEMPT for mileage.
