This car was bought in Europe in 1986 and imported to Texas by the original owner , I purchased it in 2013 and registered it in Santa Fe New Mexico where I have a second home . The car has been well maintained and is currently in Los Angeles CA , it can be registered anywhere in the USA except for California . Work done on the car within the last 15000 miles : Timing chain guide rails replaced the chain is still original , water pump and thermostat , 2 fuel pumps , rebuilt alternator , new exhaust no catalytic converter , instrument cluster overhaul , new brake calipers rotors and pads , upper control arms , ball joints , guide rod ball joints , Heavy duty Bilstein shocks , Michelin premier tires AS , oil and transmission service done 900 miles ago . The car is a very solid responsive ride , drives shifts and brakes great , windows butler seat belts and sunroof all work , air conditioning and heater do not . No leaks or rust what so ever . As seen on the pictures the original paint's clear coat is sun damaged and the car should be repainted . The interior is in excellent condition except for some unstitching at the top of the back seats . Overall a beautiful young classic that can easily be restored or driven daily .
