1955 Chevy Series 2 Short bed Stepside pickup Up for sale is my 55 Chevy truck. This is a GREAT looking truck that turns heads everywhere I take it! I really hate to sell it, but right now I have to many projects going on and need the money to finish a few of them up. The 55 Series 2 is sitting on a 1986 C10 Frame and running gear! You get the look of a classic with the reliability and driveability of a newer truck! The conversion was done by the previous owner, and was done nicely. The truck spent most of its life in Mexico and the Midwest so it is SOLID and as far as I can tell is rust free! Running gear is a Chevy 350 2 barrel with a TH350 trans. I just got a 4-wheel alignment and the truck goes down the highway at 80 MPH no problem! This truck runs and sounds GREAT! NO smoke, NO strange noises, just a smooth running small block Chevy with plenty of power!Power steering and Power front Disc brakes.Motor has been tuned up and detailed. Black exterior with Tan/white/black interior.Tilt Steering column.The paint is REALLY REALLY nice with only a few minor imperfections that can be seen if you look really closely. Body is in excellent shape. There are only a couple of spots that show bubbling or shrinking, but not bad at all for a 10 year old paint job! You can't hardly see the imperfection unless you look really closely!Glass all looks good and windows roll up and down just fine.Vent windows are tight but work fine. They are original.Bed has a steel plate on top of what appears to be the original wood. Bed has been Rhino-lined in gray with clear coat on top. Looks awesome. Just a few scratches in the bed from hauling a few things. Tires are wide white walls and have plenty of tread remaining.Wheels are Cragar Chrome moons. They shine great but do have some rust in a few areas. The rust on the wheels could probably be buffed out, but I have not tried.Headlights work, tail lights work, blinkers work, horn works, windshield wipers work!You could use this as a daily driver! I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere!
