RARE1984 Chevrolet C10Short Bed2WD6.2 Diesel with automatic. The truck is really square for being 34 years old and is rust free. It has 18" wheels but one center cap is missing as you will see in the pictures. The tires are old and I wouldn't trust them for highway speeds or any kind of long distance but I have felt comfortable enough with them to drive it a few miles at a time to the store or work at 45 MPH. These trucks are increasing in value and parts are readily available. I think it would make an excellent start for an LS motor conversion as it is but even more in areas that grant SMOG exemptions for diesel titled trucks. The truck runs and drives well but is getting harder to start and I suspect the glow plugs aren't all working properly. It doesn't leak any fluids. I think the diesel engine has life left in it, the truck simply needs some TLC and some odds and ends from a junkyard which unfortunately I'm not in a close proximity to and that's why I haven't fixed it up in the 3 years I have owned the truck. The hood latch broke that is why you will notice the hood up slightly in the pictures however I do have one ordered that should be here this week. The interior needs major work as it was covered in some horrible fabric at some point. I do have a dash pad for it but it has the same worn and horrible fabric on it that the worn out seat and headliner have on them. There is no carpet or floor mat and the window seals are rotted. I will help with shipping but the buyer will be responsible for all costs associated with it.I'm willing to store the truck for up to 6 weeks but payment needs to be paid in full.
