Here we have an amazingly original, unmolested 80 CR 250. This bike is in excellent, unrestored condition. It has the original tires, original grips, original seat cover, original plastic and even includes the original oem Honda bike stand. The bike was bought new in 1980 at a local St. Louis dealership and was owned by two brothers since. It has been mostly sitting for the last 18 years. The only updates are the carb was cleaned/rebuilt and the air filter was replaced. Other than that, this is a great running, original bike. It has great compression, the suspension works as it should, it has a few rust / pit marks here and there, likely from being in the weather at some point. To my knowledge, no parts have been painted or reconditioned, its original as you see it. The tank stickers are bubbling off, but they are original. The rear wheel bearings have a little play and the rear sprocket teeth are worn but it still rides great. The bike starts easy, the kicker is still pretty tight. This would be the perfect AHRMA vintage racer. No work needed, just hit the track. Unfortunately, the title/bill of sale have been lost but i will provide a card from local law enforcement that says the VIN has been run and is clear, no issues. This is a one owner bike that i recently picked up and i have very high confidence the engine has never even been opened up. It just sat and was used very sparingly. I would keep it, but i have a number of vintage bikes and this one needs a caring home that will enjoy it. I am happy to provide a facetime or video of it running if you are a serious buyer.
