Miller Brothers Hotrod Barn has a sweet 1955 Chevy pickup forsale. This truck has only had two families own it since new. Truck was bought new at Gaddy motor company in N. Wilkesboro N.C. in 55 and that gentleman was a farmer and used this truck as his Sunday truck until 1980s. Truck was sold to the Lankford family and given to their youngest son Ted. The truck was then resprayed its original blue had the seat covered and a set of aluminum wheels installed. Ted drove this truck through high school and when he was accepted at NC State the truck was parked until his father bought a local hardware store and started using the truck as a advertising tool. The overall condition is excellent truck has just the right patina where you don't have to do nothing but ride. Its mechanically sound brakes are great you can drive wherever you wanna go. It does leak a little oil but who cares oil is cheap. this truck has only been sprayed once back in the 1980s so as you can see its the best one in the world. floors and braces are great and the truck is only showing the least amount of rust I think a blister on the bottom of one fender and one door. The bed sides are straight along with the headboard and tailgate and yes this is the original bed. The wood was replaced at some point not sure when. The interior is stock with the seat being recovered once back in the late 80s. all the jambs and firewall are original paint. To sum it up this is the truck you are always hoping to find but never comes available don't miss out its ready to enjoy now. If you are looking for a truck thats solid to restore don't miss out . Truck can be viewed most anytime just call for appointment or with questions my name is Scott 8287739840.On May-31-18 at 07:20:59 PDT, seller added the following information: I added pics of the underside upon request and it is really nice does have some old undercoating and thats pretty much it the door bottoms are nice but the rubbers are a little crusty but the rubber holders are still intact. headlights and charging system works but I forgot to check the turn signals. the overall condition is excellent of all this truck remember it is 63 years old. not many in this price range that even close to as solid as this one much less is already road worthy. the engine runs great and it does still have the old floor kick starter. the three speed works well.
