This Classic 1981 Jeep CJ7 is "RUST FREE" undamaged and still very original today.. Nevada CJ that has been adult owned, well cared for and garage kept. It's maintained to the highest level. SEE VIDEO! *All the running gear, motor, transmission, clutch, rear end parts, new one piece axles, U joints, suspension, springs, bushings, fuel system, brakes and so on rebuilt in restoration. *All 4 wheel drive parts also like new working order. It runs outstanding and very fun to drive! * Howell TBI fuel injection upgrade added to motor after motor rebuild. Added for better power and performance over stock for sure! This CJ7 is a True Factory RENEGADE. I also believe this Jeep retains it's original paint based on the condition of paint and original decals when i started project. I also had a local classic car painter in my area inspect the paint for me (just to confirm if my thinking was correct) He pulled a few body rubbers - hinges - looked at every thing in great detail and told me it's original paint and yes Renegade decals also original to the Jeep. The prior owner also told me original paint on Jeep when when he bought it from a family friend that bought it new off the showroom in 1981. The paint on Jeep still very nice today. Started with soap and water, covered up ever decal not to damage with buffer. Then fine scotch bright and wash again. *Then color sand every inch of paint with 2,000 wet and dry paper. Wash and then re-color sand with 3,000 wet and dry! *Then went to cutting compound, then finish compound, then final glaze compound, then wax and finish it off with high speed re buff with polish wheel to give it the nice wet glass shine look you see today. The inside of Jeep was gutted and cleaned. Any floor area inside Jeep with heavy scuffing or exposed metal from foot traffic and cargo over the years where touched up only to retail original paint inside. * All the rust free original painted floors inside Jeep ( only clear coated to keep them original but protected again). The under hood original painted area's also just re cleared to keep it original but protected metal for many years to come. *The bottom side floor pans and frame also cleaned and then finished in a SEM water proof / anti rust coating to keep bottom side rust free and protected from any harsh road elements for many years to come.
