This 1979 Honda CR 250R was purchased at an estate sale in Los Angeles. The owner had passed a few years back and I could not get any info, but if you look at the bike, you will agree that someone loved this bike back in the day!Polished rims, polished fork legs, awesome aluminum shorty levers (have no idea who makes these, never seen these type before) WORKS shocks, fork boots, some bling parts, etc. The tank and carb were cleaned out and I was able to bump start this easily. It runs strong, shifts smooth, and the clutch worked fine. It has crazy low mid range power, and I think that this motor has some special porting, etc. While it looks and runs good, there are some issues:The kickstarter (I believe the return spring) is not working. A broken front spoke, and typical scratches and dings. It will need a going through, as you would with any 39 year old bike before you do any serious riding. Fluids, filters, etc. This is a cool bike, and with a little work you will have a great vintage racer.Sold with a California Bill Of Sale only.
