The donor car was a German Mercury Capri. The engine & transmission had been completely gone thru before installing in the car. This is the most fun car to drive & if you have ever owned or driven a true British roadster, this is the closest you are going to get ( without breakdown's ) of driving a true legend! It is powered by a 4 cylinder high performance Ford motor sport engine, fed by 2 twin Stromberg carbs feeding all four cylinders. It pulls very strong thru 1st, 2nd, 3rd & the 4th is more geared as an overdrive to cruise @ 70 + MPH on the highway. I have added as many pictures as possible & if there are any questions you have, please ask before you bid. Car has a compliment of gauges, lighted toggle switches for each operation, rack & pinion steering mated to a Flaming River tilt wheel along with Lucas pencil beam driving lamps & it would be incomplete without a Klaxon / OOOGA horn along with the original trumpet horns. I have seen one sold on Ebay out of Chicago for over 20K & no where close to what you will be getting here!
