Like Dolly Parton said "I costs a lot of money to look this cheap". You can't hardly find patina this great! 66K original miles. Original paint. Original hood in original paint and extra sidecovers are included. I also have the original instruments and ashtray . 49?Mercury engine. Valves just adjusted. Offenhauser heads. Twin carbs.Headers.5 speed T-5 tranny. 8” Ford rear end just rebuilt with new 3.90 gears. Now you can use 5th gear ! Walker radiator.46 Ford drums in front (one NOS). Radial 16” tires. Rare defroster vent. Completely rewired.1938 Ford steering installed. Cruises at 70! Period Stewart Warner Gauges,12 volt system. Ignition converted to electronic with Big Block Chevy distributor. Front window opens, rear window rolls up and down. Dash and trim powder coated.1938 steering box installed much better! Edelbrock heads,custom made air filters and Fenton headers. This car was in storage until 2002. Guy flipped it to Gas Monkey. They blew the original engine. He took it back and did the upgrade with 49 engine he had and running gear. He passed away & I bought at estate sale. Rewired & high speed starter installed. Electric fan installed and period Stewart Warner gauges.All upgrade work by Paul Kosma. Minor rust in rocker in front of doors and behind. Also a small amount in the rear pan as is common with this body. Fitment on the tranny tunnel was bad so Paul fabricated a new tunnel (se pix). You can still see the original pin stripes! All windows work. Rear rain gutter intact. Wiper installed. Door lock works. Like any flatty it doesn't like stop and go traffic. It'll run down highway at 168 degrees. When engine is cold is pumps close to 70LB oil pressure. Around 30-40 LBs when hot and running at 65. TACH sending unit not working. Wheels are Kelsey Haynes 16" with 205 16 radial tires. Repop Crager caps. Custom exhaust made with two Cherry Bomb mufflers exiting underneath the doors. X member was trimmed to fit pipes. Speedo is correct within 4 MPH. I can assist with shipping. The car runs and drives. I just put 50 miles on it yesterday. This is an extremely rare version of the 3 window series.
