I purchased this car from an older gentleman. He said in 1986 him and his son were gonna restore the car. They started taking it apart as he went off to college here in his home town. Told me son met a girl from college. She was from Oregon. Never could get son to work on car again. Son quit college and moved to Oregon. For a barn find this is a super car. Sanded down and put in red primer. Has some body work done to it. Super candidate for full restoration. It is a true SS with power windows, bucket seats & console, factory air and power steering. Power top with factory grab bar. Has some rust thru the lower quarters behind the passenger side tire-not bad. There has been some fiberglass work done to pinholes in trunk and under the back seat. Floor boards are solid. Lower fenders have been repaired some-not bad. The worst thing about the car-somebody has put 4 marker lights in quarters & fenders - 1.5 inches round holes- looks like 68 marker lights. They have been removed in preparation for repair. Car came with 14" nostalgic Fenton Wheels. The original wheels and hubcaps are available from parts car if preferred. We have the hood, bumpers, grill & all necessary parts to put car back together. We so have complete motor and transmission-327 with power glide. Do not think this is a matching numbers car. Super solid frame! No starter or alternator. All brackets are there. AC brackets and air breather complete We also have a 4 door parts car available(as pictured) - NOT included in this auction.
