My new NSX is everything I hoped for, with a single exception: At 6'3" and 250 lbs., approaching age 70, although I find the driving position comfortable once I'm seated, I have difficulty with entry and exit, maneuvering my legs under the steering wheel. I assumed it would be a simple matter to relocate the driver's seat downward and rearward to address this; there appears to be room to spare, and it was simple enough to do this on the similarly cramped E-types I drove years ago. As it turns out, however, no one seems to have any experience with this to date, and I have too many projects (and other cars from which to choose) to take this on just now. Hence my decision to sell. If you're shopping for an NSX, you're familiar with the specs, and you've likely read many of the same stellar reviews that I have, and so I'll just add $.02 worth: Over 11 weeks of ownership, most impressive to me is the power delivery. It's seamless, with essentially no pauses during upshifts, thanks to the dual clutch transmission and (I assume) a little help from the hybrid electric motors. The change in exhaust pitch, not a seat-of-the-pants change in acceleration, is the only obvious signal of gear changes. Unlike other NSX's you might see for sale with a few thousand miles more than mine, some of which might have been spent on a race track, mine has been driven gently. Present mileage is only 277 after 11 weeks of ownership; it might increase slightly before this auction ends. If you're smaller or younger than I, you can enjoy my new NSX at a big discount. I believe I've priced my car below all comparable (i.e., essentially new) cars for sale in the US.
