We got this sought after sienna from the insurance company after it was totaled because of mechanical engine problems. Apparently the insured was driving through some standing water on the road and the engine happened to suck some water up through the air intake causing it to hydrolock. The owner took the Sienna to the Toyota... dealership and the insurance company paid to have a brand new Toyota engine installed. The dealership was almost done with the repairs when they found out it was going to take a couple additional parts like catalytic converters, and fuel sensors . After finding out it was going to take more parts than they were told the insurance company decided to total the Sienna rather than pay to have those extra parts installed. We got this AWD Toyota into our shop and finished up the job by replacing the catalytic converters, and fuel sensor.
