Re-listed due to buyer who's pockets weren't as deep as his BS.... Offered For Sale is my 1962 Cadillac Sedan DeVille….my summertime daily driver for the past 10 years. Over this time I have performed the following upgrades: - Rebuilt Chevrolet 350 engine with Turbo Hydromatic 350 automatic transmission - Edelbrock intake and 4 bbl carburetor - New Electronic Distributor and Coil - New cross flow aluminum radiator - NOS dual circuit (first year) Master Cylinder - New Coker WWW Tires - New headliner and carpet - New gas tank and fuel sender unit - New front end ball joints, control arm bushings and bearings - New brake cylinders, flex hoses and shoes - New front windscreen - New side window seals and trunk seal - New rear control arms and bushings - New drive shaft support bearing - New Battery - Custom AudioSound Radio- Yeah, yeah…the SBC doesn’t have the torque of the original 390, but it WILL cruise the Interstate at 75 mph/2600 rpm all day, PLUS, your local PEP Boys will have a waterpump for it on the shelf! This car was garaged its entire life. The cabin floors and trunk are all original and SOLID. Rockers and body mounts are very good!. Power windows and Power Antenna all work. Comes with Vintage Shop Manual and TONNES of extra parts. The not so good Fair amount of filler on the LH front fender around headlight area. The car was beige from the factory, now is painted with an oil-based enamel that is sun fading Body is pretty straight, but could use the right touch. Few small dents, scratches and bubbles The front bench seat is from a 70's pickup truck, that has been mounted on to the original Cadillac 6-way power tracks. Its all there and functional, just not wired in. The heater core leaks and is disconnected The Autronic Eye power unit is missingQuiet, but amature exhaust fab.RH vent window crank stud pushed thru while mounting the crank handle. Its inside the bottom of the door. For those of you who are asking, the engine/transmission transplant can be easily reversed to original. There was NO cutting, welding, or hammering clearance issues with the 350/350. The original driveshaft is still used and the factory transmission mount is still in place. Inside, a small hole was cut for the shifter cable...thats it. Cheap car cover is included, as is a good spare tire (BFG). Driven the 900 mile return trip from Winnipeg MB to Minneapolis MN for the “Back to the 50’s” car show every year for the past 8 years no problem, and would drive this car anywhere in North America without worry. It runs and drives with a ride that ALL Cadillac. Unfortunately, I only have room for one classic car. It is currently in storage, but I have access for pictures, etc. Realistically priced, needs a good home. Will help with documentation & loading . Thank you.
