1941 Simplex Servi Cycle. This extremely cool little piece of motorcycling history, was purchased new for a young man's paper route in 1941. I got it from his grandson, who said up until the mid 90's, they used to drive it all the time. It ran out of gas one day, so they parked it and that's where it sat until we drug it out of their basement last year. He told me that the cool little Briggs and Stratton, kick start motor, went in in the late 40's... because his grandfather told him the "Simplex motor never ran right". The grandson told me that in all the years since the little Briggs engine was put it in, "it never gave a lick of trouble". It's an old kick start washing machine engine and apparently it was all the rage in his area at the time, to swap out for the 4 stroke Briggs. Apparently it bolted right up and even lined up with the pulley system. I fired up the the Briggs and it cranked right up. This is a fun little machine, with great history! I can ship it anywhere in the US, for $250.
