Vehicle Detail
Up for Auction is a well-maintained, dependable, fuel efficient 2007 Toyota Prius. I believe this was level 4 for options. This one has a back-up camera, which is really helpful as the shape of the Prius makes backing up more challenging than most vehicles, tinted windows, standard Prius safety options. The A/C blows nice and cold (heater works too). The vehicle gets in the upper 40s for miles per gallon. Do your homework and research Kelly Blue Book or Consumer Reports, etc. This car gets excellent marks. Mileage is 137,689... which is probably half of what this vehicle would drive to if well maintained. We have not had to do any major mechanical repairs (Engine / Drive Train).... It is a Toyota. I took this car to the dealership prior to listing to fix any problems before listing, and they reported that nothing needed to be fixed. I replaced the starter battery a month or two ago. https://www.kbb.com/toyota/prius/2007/ We purchased this vehicle certified pre-owned in 2010 and have kept up suggested maintenance. Condition is not perfect, but defects are mostly cosmetic. Here are the known issues with the vehicle - hail damage, ... there's only one key fob, which works, but is in worn condition. A few bumps, bruises and scrapes, a few stains inside, general wear and tear. The trunk button does not cooperate very well to open it. We had it replaced at the dealership once before and it has worn out again. You have to find the right angle to get the button to press, and then have to lift from the bottom of the trunk door. Since we've owned the vehicle, it hasn't been in an accident other than small parking lot scrapes at 2 mph. We had the car in for an oil change not long after we bought it and someone bumped the bumper and the dealership repainted it, but that paint is flaking off on the front bumper. This car won't win a beauty contest, but if you're looking for a dependable cash car at this point in your life that gets close to 50 mpg as gas prices edge up near the $3.00 per gallon mark again, consider this one. The tank holds 11.9 gallons and we typically fill up for $25-30 and go 400-450 miles on a fill-up. We're selling this car because we upgraded to a hybrid Toyota Highlander. I wouldn't recommend this for more than a 4-person family. I'm 6'3" and drove this car for 7 years without feeling excessively cramped. KBB lists this at $7,037, which I believe is in excellent condition and low miles. Estimated value is probably something in the $4500-$5000 with the hail dents and other items listed above. I've been buying and selling on ebay for 20 years. This is my first vehicle. Please submit questions via ebay if you have any.
