Up for sale is the iconic 1985 Honda XL600R Dual Purpose bike. This bike is so clean and original, just a beautiful vintage enduro bike. The carburetor is brand new and tuned perfectly. This bike starts on the 1st or 2nd kick, EVERY TIME. There is absolutely no kickback when starting this XL600R. Motor was replaced by previous owner at 7000 miles, this is a very healthy bike. The Supertrapp exhaust note sounds just right, not too quiet and not too loud. Its just a nice muscular, throaty note to cruise along to. The seat has just been rebuilt (foam) and recovered with the factory OEM seat cover. Literally everything on this bike works as it should; headlight/taillight, front and rear turn signals, horn, and high and low beam works. The odometer and tripmeter work as well. The rear tire is brand new and the front has great tread life remaining. Included in the sale price is a spare factory swingarm (I had planned to have this powder coated and apply factory OE decals), bar-mount side mirror, and a spare plastic side cover. I really hate to see this thing go. You can literally jump on it and drive anywhere without concern, its ready for spring riding. I reserve the right to end this auction at any time.
