Vehicle Description Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Ryan and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and... drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2000 GMC Safari Astro van with 140K on the clock. I would rate the exterior of this Astro van to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and milage. As you can see, this is a good looking GMC. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with the age and milage. On this specific GMC, there is nothing major to disclose. Just a few light scratches and the drivers door handle is loose. Over all this Astro looks good. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tailgate all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice matching set or rubber with great tread all around. The headlight lenses are nice and clear, not all hazed up and dull. They do a excellent job at lighting up the road in front of you. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would also rate the interior of this Astro van to be AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and milage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. The dash and headliner are clean. The cloth seats are soft, supple and very comfortable. The power windows, locks and mirrors all work properly. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The heater blows hot and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The audio system is original and works properly. The trunk is spacious and clean. Please take your time to check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this Astro van appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.3L V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. I haven't noticed any leaks and the engine dose not smoke. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps good temperature and feels strong but runs a little on the cool side. The ABS and brake light come on intermittently. Most likely a dirty wheel speed sensor. Other than that there have been no idiot lights on during my road test. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. These are the (in my opinion) the best mini van. They are a true 4wd and have a reliable engine and trans.
