I bought this Suzuki T 500 Titan a few years ago from the original owner who rode it for a few years in the 70s to college and then it sat from 1981 to 2014. The really cool thing is when i bought it, since it had leaded fuel in it, it was not all gummed up. All i did was drain the carbs, adjust the points and push start it down the driveway 2x. It started right up and has run flawlessly since. This bike is all original, the only additions from OEM are a lithium ion battery and a new fuel line and petcock o ring. All other parts are original including tank (no rust at all), tires, etc. The oil injection works as it should. The bike has a few blemishes (very small amount of surface pits from rust and a small scratch/mark on the front fender where it looks like somebody dumped it over as well as a small dent in the tank). This bike is a true survivor, totally unmolested and all original two stroke fun. I bought the bike with 3300 miles on it and have put 1100 miles on it myself. Whenever i go anywhere, people are so enthralled with the sound, smell and vintage style. I will admit, i have owned a number of street bikes and this bike is ambitious in stating it has 44hp. Its not the fastest bike in the world, but all that is made up in style and nostalgia points. Please see the pictures. Bike has always been garaged for the last 35 years. I have never had any rear blinkers since owning the bike. Rust on pipes: the underside of the bike / pipes is clean and rust free. There is some slight pitting from weather and age, but no rust on the pipes. See added picture for reference. Where was bike purchased originally: It still has the dealer sticker on the rear fender from the original selling dealer here in St. Louis / St. Peters MO. See added pic there too.
