This auction is for a motorcycle sidecar ONLY. I purchased both the CBX and the sidecar together, but I only want to keep the CBX. As you can see from the pictures, this sidecar combination is very beautifully matched to the CBX in both color and style, and makes a great collectible combination! These sidecars are pretty rare, and especially unique when added to the mighty Honda air-cooled six. I have not driven the bike - so I cannot describe how the sidecar rides or performs. I can say that while the sidecar was connected, it was the smoothest rolling CBX I have ever pushed around! The CBX felt as light as a feather with the sidecar balancing the weight. It was very impressive! I disconnected the sidecar to transport to my home, and it just never got reconnected. The sidecar connects / disconnects very easily. It is a four point attachment and appears very secure. The sidecar paint is nicely matched to the Honda factory color, Candy Glory Red, however the paint is checked and cracked. The paint looks beautiful from a distance. The pictures did not pick up the checking in the paint. The interior, seat, wheel, and underside of the sidecar are like new. Wheel size is 3.50x16. The CBX motorcycle has just 5k miles, and the sidecar has less than 5k miles. The sidecar comes with all of the hardware, and I can provide as many pictures as needed for the new buyer to attach the sidecar. This sidecar will fit the 1979 and 1980 CBX, and possibly other similar style bikes of that era, but buyer must do their own research.
