Registered with Pontiac Historical Services Beautiful car, runs well, and has undergone partial restoration. I currently use it as a weekend cruiser. Many of the big ticket repairs / replacements (totaling ~$10K) have already been done including installed new: · 1406 Performer Carburetor with Electric Choke (Edelbrock) · 2156 Performer Aluminum Intake (Edelbrock) · 350-2157 Camshaft with lifter kit (Edelbrock) · 4 barrel compatible air cleaner and valve covers (Edelbrock) · Replaced fuel and water pump · Replaced fuel filter · Replaced hoses · Replaced distributor with Summit Racing kit · Replaced spark plugs and spark plug wires · Replaced PCV · Replaced front bumper chrome/have original · $3000 in additional maintenance work on brakes and pedal adjustment · Custom alumized exhaust installed by Elk Grove custom exhaust Car was featured on “Wheelers and Dealers” web extra Paint has some defects, but reviewed paint condition with a custom paint shop and the owner said the paint condition is too good in his opinion to repaint for a few years. Interior is in good condition. I didn’t have time to complete everything, so there are minor issues like driver door latch is “sticky” to open, weather /rubber stripping is due for replacement, small oil leak when not tightened well enough, needs one of the seatbelts in back reconnected, car still has a 1980’s era radio which should be replaced with stock, etc. Have receipts for parts and much of the work done elsewhere. To make highway ready I would have done additional mechanical and transmission work and possibly converted brakes to disc, but for a weekend cruiser or to take next step to high end driver/show it is well on the way.Power convertible top works well. I have many of the original parts if you want including front chrome. Always garaged, waxed, premium gas and oil, and non-smoking. All in all a beautiful car that deserves a good home.
