My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that... I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2005 Land Rover LR3 with just 121k miles. I would rate the exterior of this Land Rover to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking truck. It is finished in Zambezi Silver over Black interior. The silver finish shines nicely and looks smooth all around. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific LR3, the only damage worth mentioning is a scrape down the right side doors. It may be hard to see in the photos, but it's there. Aside from that, she looks pretty good. All of the body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the trim and cladding is present and shows well. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber with good tread all around. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully and be sure to read this entire written description as there are many things you will want to know about this Land Rover before you decide if you want to place a bid on it. I would rate the interior of this Land Rover to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The carpets are thick and full looking throughout the interior. There is one thing you absolutely need to know before reading further. The seal around the windshield leaks right at the top center. When it rains hard, it lets a little bit of water in. As you could guess, there is a slightly damp smell to the interior because of this. That being said, everything else inside the truck is fine. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The audio system is original and sounds good. The factory touch screen GPS system also appears to be working properly. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. There are independent temperature controls for both the driver and passenger. It's a little too cold to confirm that the air conditioner is cooling effectively but the heater works well. The cargo area is spacious and clean. The only other thing worth mentioning is that the glove box latch is broken and the glove box will not stay closed. Mechanically, this LR3 appears to be in good running and driving condition but there are some things going on that will need addressed. Please pay very close attention to this paragraph. The 4.4L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I haven't noticed any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are pretty good, too. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. As with most Rovers, there is a host of warning lights on in the dash. They include, but are not limited to, the check engine light, the brake light (yellow), the traction system light and the suspension light. I've been driving this truck every day for the last two weeks. The suspension pump runs and the truck will maintain normal highway driving level without issue, although the warning comes on when it is pumping. How you see the truck in the pictures is pretty much the only height you get. The engine makes good power and keeps perfect temperature. The transmission is also sometimes weird. It will sometimes shift on its own, but you have to drive it in "manual mode" most of the time for it to go through all the gears, which it will do flawlessly. Gear changes are smooth just as they should be. For reasons I don't know, you just have to change gears manually. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely zero complaints. This LR3 has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of July, 2018. This truck will have a few issues to sort through, although I believe they will be pretty simple. The leak at the windshield should be easy to remedy. I would suspect the ABS module to be the source of the other issues. Despite its annoying issues, you can fly in and drive it anywhere with confidence. I've personally put the last 1,500 miles (and counting) on this LR3 and would drive it anywhere without a second thought. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
