This is a no reserve auction! Winning Bidder is responsible for all delivery costs and arrangements. Truck is located in Crescent Valley Nevada (89821) We do have a full service shop here if needed and we can deliver at a cost, please contact me before bidding. BODY: I took pictures of all the damaged/problems areas. Various dents and dings from daily use. NEW Drivers front fender installed from summit racing. ORIGINAL Paint is generally good but thin and worn on flat surfaces. Still can be shined up. Passenger side floor pan has one rust hole (see picture below). Truck bed is in descent shape, Cracks around bed tool box. Truck bed floor has rust in the front corners but structurally intact and very usable. Windshield has cracks. INTERIOR: Seat has been re-upholstered and is in excellent condition. Gauge bezel and Radio are in very good condition. Volt gauge works but added an aftermarket manual temp gauge. Door panels only have light wear. Door weather stripping is dry and cracking. Dash has cracks and headline is there. All interior items are there and can be serviced to make 100% functional. ENGINE: Equipped with a stock 390 cubic inch V-8. Engine has a rebuilt 2 barrel carb and a fresh oil change. Engine starts easily and runs smooth with very little visible blow-by. The engine appears to be generally well maintained. No ticks or knocks. Still has original points distributor. Accelerates well with plenty of power. TRANSMISSION: Truck is equipped with original 4 speed manual transmission. Clutch engagement is smooth and at mid pedal travel. Transmission shifts smoothly with no grinding or bearing noises. DRIVETRAIN/BRAKES: Original Transfer case is 2-high/4-high only, works as should. Front 4wd (Dana 44) spindles have been Serviced and bearings greased. 4wd engagement works as should. Rear is a ford 9in rear axle. All drum brakes have been Serviced and adjusted. Stops as good as manual drum brakes should. STEERING: Manual steering- Truck steers as well as a 1971 ford should, has play and wonders a bit. Steering joints are greased but has some wear. SUSPENSION: Complete and works as should. It appears a couple of overload leaf springs have been added to the rear. TIRES and WHEELS: Truck has excellent rubber. They are tube type 16 inch rims. All are in excellent shape and no dry rot cracks or checking visible on the tires. Spare tire is dry and cracking but has a tube and hold air. CONCLUSION: Overall this truck needs nothing to cruise in. It is in great shape for its age and has very little body rust. The truck currently runs and drives well. The running gear is in excellent condition. This truck is original and a pleasure to drive. Very easy to fall in love with the F100 timeless styling. I have tons more pictures and a short video I can send on request.
